We’re kicking off “the Weinhaus” holiday season with a flight night feature of wines from Piedmont. Situated in the northwest, Piedmont shares borders with France and Switzerland. The region’s Italian name, Piemonte, translates to foot of the mountains, which is a fitting descriptor for its subalpine location and the fact that it’s surrounded by mountains on three sides—the Alps in the north and west and the Apennines in the south. We’ll be sharing 3 red wines this evening from this highly sought-after Italian region.
The wines:
Barbera d'Asti 'Bricco', Paolo Conterno (2020)
Langhe Nebbiolo [Basarin], Sottimano (2021)
Barolo 'Serralunga', Luigi Pira (2018)
Event Details:
5p-8p
Flight of all 3 wines - $17/person
Reservations are encouraged but NOT required
All 3 wines will be available for retail purchase.
